We've gotten take-out several times from Ho's. It's the best Chinese we've had since we moved to Allen Park.

Tried Ho's for the first time last night. Pretty good. I had egg drop soup, crab wontons, and an egg roll. The soup was excellent! And the crab wontons were not too bad, though I prefer the ones from Hong Kong Inn. The egg roll was huge, but delicious. My fiancé ordered the general tso's chicken. He said it was good, but the sauce wasn't what he expected. Overall we had a pretty good experience and would eat here again. I would love to try an entree next time.

I've been a customer since this place opened, when I lived in Allen Park. I still drive 20 miles to pick up their carry out - it's worth it! They really care about the quality of their food. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are ample. I love their egg rolls and pepper steak. Give them a try, its really good. Carry out only!

I've visited this restaurant two times so far and the food isn't bad. First order was shrimp fried rice. Rice was moist and there was plenty of shrimp. It's not the best fried rice I've ever had, but it was flavorful. Second time, pork chop suey combo. The chop suey was very bland, but all the veggies were fresh and meat was tender. Egg roll was best part; larger than typical and flavorful filling. Plan to return, but not on my lunch. Order wait is 15-min. Unfortunately they open at the start of my lunch and I can't call in advance; takes too much of my lunch time.

After moving to Taylor we began to search for some good Chinese food. We've been to so many Chinese places in the area we we're losing hope. I came across this place using Yelp and upon reading good reviews gave it a try. I'm glad we did! So far the best Chinese place I've had since moving to Taylor. It's a bit of a drive but worth it for us! Egg Rolls- Delicious Sweet Sour Chicken- I always get sauce on side but comes on top normally. Delicious, nice and crispy but not burned, golden brown with a few vegetables and pineapples. Sauce is a bit different than I'm used to but still good. I'm use to the red color this is more orange. Sesame Chicken- taste great. Portions are huge, will always have leftovers! All in all best I've had so far and highly recommend!

Been trying to find a Chinese take out place in the area that is as good as our favorite place from across state. So we thought we would give this place a try considering the rave reviews here on yelp but this is not the place for us. Not bad but not very good either. We ordered inside and waited for our order. service was very friendly and the food came out very fast! We ordered the chicken LO mein, sweet and sour chicken and a few egg rolls. The quantity of food they give you is ridiculously large! I thought I was going to drop the bag when I picked it up! The LO mein was bland and mushy and the s&s chicken was a bit dry. My husband liked the huge messy egg rolls but I didn't care for them(I prefer a cabbage egg roll). Overall a decent place but not our favorite yet.

Gourmet Asian dining at its finest -- is not this place. If your palate is refined and you're looking for a place with class, take $30-$40 down to PF Chang's for your fix of Far East fusion. On the other hand, a $10 spot will buy you pretty much anything you want on the menu at Ho's Kitchen. The flavors are simple and the dishes aren't pretty, but the food feeds your soul. Got a big soul? No problem. The servings are enormous. I weighed my carryout and it was heavier than my 4 pound food scale could measure. If you can finish your entire order in one sitting, you are a disgusting human being -- like me. // Dinners come with chicken fried rice and a huge, yummy egg roll. // Do *not* sleep on the Crab Rangoon. Just don't. // They do not take American Express or Discover cards. // Meet the chef! A sweet, older Chinese dude you just know could make any of the dishes on the menu in his sleep. Hard working; sometimes he's the only one there.

After moving back from Lansing, I am destined to find a new go-to Chinese place and tried Ho's after viewing positive Yelp reviews... My first bite, their shrimp fried rice (extra $2.50 for the shrimp) had that cigarette taste that only the worst fried rice has. Not sure what it is but it tastes the way an old ashtray smells. I ordered the General Tso which had no spice level and very little taste. It was worst than the worst mall Chinese food. It tasted plastic-y and old. On the upside, earning them a whopping 1 star, is their crab rangoons which were yummy but average. Their potion size might have been a plus had their food been the least bit appetizing. *Mostly take-out. Not a sit-down restaurant although you could if you were really desperate*

Here is the hardest working guy in Allen Park. I don't think I've ever witnessed the place closed. I feel nothing other than guilt eating any type of Chinese. Ho's is pretty good. (I find Chinese food to be pretty asimilar place to place.) I can't imagine how he makes a profit on his shrimp dishes. We order a quart of shrimp-something and I was amazed at the size and quantity. Ho's is basically carry-out. There might have been a table but I can't remember. Don't order too much. He's pretty generous.

Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover . This is a typical Chinese establishment . Yet I find myself ordering from here 2-3 times a month . The food has flavor and taste . The garlic chicken and general tso are the best IMO .

Good, cheap, greasy chinese food. Carry out only. Prices are decent -- $6.50 for a lunch combo, $7.50 for a dinner combo. We live close and grab carry out from Ho's once a week. My boyfriend always orders an extra egg roll, and every once in awhile, I'll go for the fried wontons. Particularly great on a Saturday afternoon after a night of cocktails. As for the combo plates, I stick to the Szechuan Beef (comes with an egg roll and rice) and my boyfriend swears by their Sweet & Sour Chicken. The portion sizes are humongous and their food is consistently good. The fortunes in the fortune cookies are so disappointing, but the actual fortune cookies are some of the best I've ever had. And it never gets old asking my boyfriend if he wants me to bring him home some Ho's.

Tried this place over the weekend and I am pleased with the choice. We ordered a lot of food since our eyes are bigger than our stomach's. Two orders of Sesame Chicken (with fried rice and egg rolls), Spring Rolls, and Crab Rangoon for starters. My favorite was the Crab Rangoon. Those alone deserve 10 stars. The Sesame Chicken was yummy too. Rice was average but good. The Spring Rolls were perfect and I skipped the Egg Rolls since they contain shrimp (shrimp and I are not friends). Anyhoo, I recommend this place. It's budget friendly and not only did we have a full meal last night but with all of the leftovers, we had another full meal today. And there is still Sesame Chicken left. The servings are gigantic. Honestly, I will most likely go back and order two orders of Crab Rangoon and make it a meal for myself (typically, it's an appetizer). The Rangoon was so delicious that I am drooling as I type this (Homer Simpson style). Oh, and the boyfriend said that the people there were extremely nice and the food was ready in a flash. Overall great experience.

Before Ho's was just carry out, they had a dine-in location on Telegraph many years ago. I've been going to Ho's ever since. The family has always been so pleasant, and the food has always been delicious. Always my first choice if I'm in the mood for Chinese Carry Out!
